PHEW...

I witnessed this young mother at the park towards the end of the day. She was slouched over taking a breather from a long day. I drew this from memory later and decided to take it a bit further than just another sketch. I'm trying to break bad habits you pick up doing carucatures. Like spending five minutes on something and moving on. I' m trying to challenge myself a little more. I'm also trying to incorperate more story into my drawings, instead of just drawing an intresting looking person standing around. I have another one like this coming soon.

That's awesome Brian. It looks like it could be an advertisement. Or a greeting card. Very pro work. And it definitely tells a story.

You're so good! I didn't know what would happen when you told me how you were gonna make this picture but it came out great! It looks like one whole picture and yeah it does tell a story. I should probably work on that too but you know I wont lol. The stuffed bear is so cute! I want one ^-^

LOL! i like how the "FUN" flag banner pretty much nailed it all. are people really having fun when they visit theme parks? i mean i actually see more frustrated couples and then frustrated parents to just frustrated employees. you should've gave the stroller a broken/missing wheel and also added in a seagull with a churro in its mouth along with an empty churro wrapper in the lady's hand. maybe even add in her "missing husband" who is actually hitting on some 17-year old sea world employee. ok, maybe i'm suggesting too many things and it will just be a clusterfuck of images like johnny's caricatures. i really like the simplicity of your drawing and it gets the point out. great work young skywalker!

this is great. i love how parents bring babies to the theme parks as if they are going to remember any of it. they are always like, "it's billy's first time to (fill in the blank)!"
