Bizmar
This is a pinup I did for Young American Comics. It's for the "Big ol' Book of Bizmar" . Bizmar stands for bunny, insect, zombie, monkey, alien, robot. Now some have brought to my attention something I already knew regarding this picture. A worm is NOT an insect. Yes I know a worm is not technically an insect but I had to step up and use my artist lisence on this one. I went through a lot of different types of bugs in different parts of the picture at one time just flies buzzing around the zombies hand. None of it worked as well as this. I wanted a full on character and it was hard to see any kind of detail in any other bug . The worm has so few details in its self there was room to add a tie and hat and still make it read correctly.
Technically monkeys and bunnies and worms dont wear ties or hats. I will post some of the alternate bugs I got up to the final stage.

I guess I better get on those monkeys and bunnies and worms of mine about their tie-wearing habits. They will be shamed. SHAMED THEY WILL BE!!!!
I love how the dirt is glowing. Like the zombie is emmitting his own light source. Hey... that could totally be a new kids toy. "Glow Zombies" Sort of like "GlowWorms" ... only with the living dead.
Great idea Will, glow zombies. I'm already on the horn with mattel I'll go in on halves witcha!
that cover will sell the book!
I dont think it will be the cover...
oh I think it will... IN MY HEAD!!!
